She was born as Laurie Juspeczyk on 1949 as daughter of Sally Jupiter who is also known as Silk Spectre. Her mother pushed her daughter into the "family business" of crime fighting. She is not interested to become her mother's successor. She noticed that Laurence Schexnayder was not her real father, while growing up. She was always believed incorrectly, that her real father hooded justice was. Her first memory ever was a night in 1954 when she was witnessing the argument between her mother and husband Laurence about their lives. They arguing how it ends together, because Laurence has accused Sally of having an affair with an comedian in reality.

Sally acts like an agent for her daughter, by picking out her revealing costume, by bringing her to the meeting of the ill-fated "Crimebusters" in a limousine and waits outside on her. She met the comedian outside after the meeting. He gives compliments to her, for being the spitting image of her mother, but their conversation was broken up quickly by an angry Sally. She felt sorry for him, when she noticed that the comedian was sad after driving away. Sally told her daughter about her history with the comedian (she told her not that the comedian her father was) during the car ride home. She's disgusted and deeply saddened for her mother's pain and shall never forgive the comedian for his actions. Sally was in shock after hearing the news that the comedian was murdered but was able to get over it on a complicated way as time passed.

She met Dr. Manhattan shortly after her meeting with the Crimebusters. She is drawn to him from the first moment she saw him. She became involved with him and helps with some of his various domestic assignments. Her mother does not approves her relationship with the doctor who is the equivalent of sleeping with an H-bomb. She was more than pleased to quit as superhero when the Keene Act of 1977 is forcing all government-sponsored superheroes to retire.

Physical Appearance

She is 5,8 (1,72 m.) and has long brown hair with bangs, brown eyes, fair skin, full lips and a beauty mark above her lips. She looks a lot like her mother, although she has brown hair while her mother has auburn hair. She's just as beautiful as her mother and people say that she has a very beautiful smile. She has long graceful legs and an has quite athletic figure as result of many years martial arts and gymnastics training. She wears a black bra and thong, covered by a see through yellow dress, has black high heels and a choker necklace on her costume.

Skills/Abilities

• Abilities: She has physical superhuman abilities and is able to break effortlessly bones in one hit. She kicks people from the sky who flying through the air and can also perform a combat roll in the air without any harm or weakness.
• Martial Arts: She's an expert in martial arts because she is trained by her mother Sally and several other teachers since she was five years old. She is able to fight alone against several muggers and foes.
• Gymnastics: She's also a good gymnast, because she trains gymnastics all her life. She is able to do flips and kicks while wearing high heals, as result of all her gymnastics exercises. 
• Marksmanship: She's also able to use firearms and is a extreme good shooter.
